Out town's Chautaqua building around 1910. The town,
the lake and this building look pretty much the same today!

The lake in back of the building is one of only two near
perfectly round lakes in the world. Lake DeFuniak (pronunced
De Few Knee ak)is the center of the town's activities, including the Chautauqua Festival and Chrismas Reflections.
At Christmas time, the area around the lake is filled with
over a million lights.
